People. That's the whole team.
Not a Chain. Just the Crew You Remember.
Today, thirteen people run sunset cruises, snorkeling trips, kayak adventures, bike tours, food tours, eco tours, fishing charters, scuba excursions, and paddleboard outings. Thirteen people who welcomed over 100,000 guests last year -- locals and visitors alike.
And behind them is a much bigger story.
Over the last 30 years, a long line of captains, guides, and crew have helped shape what this is today -- setting the tone, passing down knowledge, and raising the bar for what it means to take care of people on the water.
They're part of this too.
The people you meet today carry that forward.
Our captain knows the regulars by name. Our crew remembers the couple who celebrated their anniversary on the Hakuna Matata. When the Motunui launched, the whole team was on the dock at sunrise -- because that's what a crew that actually cares looks like.
We don't have a PR agency. We don't have a marketing department. We have people who care whether you had a good time -- whether you live here year-round or visit once a year.
Since 1996
One Idea. One Waterfront. One Belief.
In 1996, Visit Palm Beach started on the West Palm Beach waterfront with a small kiosk offering jet ski rentals and bike tours. The idea was simple: this coast is extraordinary, and the best way to experience it is to get outside and explore it.
As demand grew, we expanded to Riviera Beach and Singer Island, reaching more people and sharing more of the water we love. But in 2012, we returned to the West Palm Beach waterfront -- not just to where we started, but to where we belong.
That return marked a new chapter.
Since then, we've steadily grown our fleet and expanded our experiences, building what Visit Palm Beach is today.
Thirty years later, those early days have evolved into a full collection of experiences -- from catamaran cruises and snorkeling to kayaking, food tours, and eco adventures. The fleet now includes the Hakuna Matata and the luxury catamaran Motunui, but the belief hasn't changed.
This place deserves to be experienced, not just visited. And the people who make it special deserve to be recognized.
